GREGORY M RUSK - DIRECTOR OF COACHING
Before returning to New Mexico, Greg Rusk was the assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Harvard University from June 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, Rusk coached at New Mexico Highlands University for the 1998 to 2001 seasons. In his final season at NMHU, he earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Coach of the Year honors. From 1995 to 1998 Greg was assistant men's coach at Lynchburg College in Virginia. Prior to college coaching, Greg was the head coach of a five-time state championship girl's team at La Cueva High School. While at La Cueva, he was also head coach of the professional New Mexico Chiles of the USISL and coached the NM state champion boys U17 team in 1992.
Rusk played professionally for five years with the New Mexico Chiles, and semi-pro for four years with the Albuquerque Gunners. He was a two-year starter and letterman for the NCAA Division I New Mexico Lobos. Greg continues to play soccer here in the Santa Fe area.
Greg holds an "A" license from the USSF and an Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA. He is also a member of the Latin American Soccer Coaches Association.
